Columbia University - Climate School
'Fashion, Energy, and Climate Earth Networks’ Program
Sustainability / Circularity / Digital Storytelling / World & Character Design
Tiago Valente is currently working with Columbia University's Climate School, where he is invited as a member and envisioneer from 2024 - 2026 as part of their 'Fashion, Energy, and Climate Earth Networks’ program.
In this role, he explores the intersection of sustainability, innovation, and technology in Fashion.
Through speculative + data based design, He is reimagining how materials can adapt to our changing world by turning harmful footprints into recycled and regenerative fibers. This project envisions a future where fashion and materiality not only survive but thrive as a proactive response to environmental shifts, being of service to Society at large.
Being at the forefront of these conversations allows Tiago to blend creative direction, tech, world & character building with a commitment to social and environmental justice, and we are thrilled to contribute to such a forward-thinking institution. Here’s to a future where fashion is in harmony with our environment, leading the way in innovation and sustainability.
