60th Venice Biennale of Art

This film was originally created as a virtual experience for New York Textile Month 2020 (NYTM), during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Initiated by Li Edelkoort, this multiple-location event gathers all voices and expressions regarding  textile and embellishment storytelling.

The film has been selected on 2024 by the 60th edition of the Venice Biennale of Art (2024) to be presented at Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello. This exhibition is possible thanks to ITSLIQUID Group in collaboration with ACIT Venice - the Italian German Cultural Association - and the Goethe Institute

The series tells a story of a fictional world, where members of a clan are challenged through different stages of life in a single day as how these individuals explore how to expand their unique persona into multiple alter egos, to further enhance their survival skills and adapt to the different environments they find themselves in, as an analogy of the complexities of each relationship between beings and physical, emotional and cultural landscapes.
